Our hearts are very heavy tonight, as we grieve with the rest of the world in the loss of our very brave soldiers. We were stationed at Fort Hood, for 4 wonderful years. We loved the army life, 1st Cavalry Division, , as well as our fiends and church family there. Our oldest son was born on post. There are no words to describe being part of the Army. We were family and everyone looked out for each other, that's how it is supposed to be. We are hurting for the soldiers lives that were lost, as well as the families. God is a God of love, and I know that He is saddened also. This event was a violent reminder that none of us get to choose how we will die in this world, but we do get to choose how we live. may the God of peace and love fill us so completely that we can't help but tell everyone about Him. Hope that you will take some extra time to pray for the families impacted by the shootings.

Praying with heavy hearts.....
