So I decided to play dress up with Kendall tonight, after she came to me repeatedly trying to put on big brothers Storm Trooper, Darth Vader and Batman costumes. I told her lets go play dress up in Kendall's room with all her very cute costumes, she humored me and let me dress her up as princesses and ballerinas, and then disappeared. She reappeared with the batman mask and said "Look mama, I'm a batarina" I think she was trying to say ballerina, but it came out perfect. Oh my sweet little princess, you are forever doomed to be an expert on all things Star Wars, and Comic books. What a princess you are, my batarina!

Hello & a Heartattack...
Lucky for me I just printed our Martha's stain removal chart and hung it in my laundry room last week. Who would have thought!!
Around Here...
This is what it looks like around here. The flu has hit our family, and it is slowly moving through. Kylor tested positive for the flu, so the whole family has to be on medications. The older brother was not at all pleased with his younger brother today! In addition to the flu, Kaden has an ear infection, and the twins are teething. Needless to say we are up to our eyeballs in medicine around here. One piece of advice if you are looking for a good stock to invest in I would recommend Tylenol, or Ibuprofen, for the amount we are going through a day 5 kids times ibuprofen every 7 hours, and 5 kids times Tylenol every 4 hours for 7 days, any investor would have it made. This week has brought me back to the days of working in the hospital, when I worked on the Cardiac floor, I would have about 4-5 patients, now I am working on the Dunlap floor, and still averaging 5 pediatric patients, and one adult patient. I must say the benefits are way better, and my patients are much cuter!!!!

The climber Kelson Belson...
Our little Kelson, the smallest of the group...at one time! We always thought that Kyson was going to be the busy one, but we were very mistaken. Kelson is very smart and plans a lot for such a little guy. He loves to climb on everything, no matter how high it may take him. If there is a possibility that he can get into something, climb on something, escape from somewhere, eat something he is not supposed to, reach something he should not have; Kelson will do it. Such a busy little guy!
The Chunky Monkey Kyson Byson.....
What fun it is to have 2 boys toddling around. Kyson is our little love bug, a biting one, at that! Kyson loves to come up and lure you into think he is loving on you, and then he bites he thinks that it is absolutely hilarious that we all run away from him in fear... Maybe once those other teeth come in the biting will stop. For now, we give him lots of frozen teething rings, and run....

Chocolate goes with everything..
I love chocolate, and love when I find an excuse (recipe) to eat it for breakfast. What better way to start out the day than with chocolate. This yummy chocolate chip scone recipe is so easy and goes perfect with our new ladies small group bible study. Today was our 1st day of the study on Patriarchs, by Beth Moore. Woohoo eating chocolate, and studying the bible, I love this!!! I can't wait to learn more from the lives of the patriarchs. I am so excited to study about the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. I will definitely keep the postings coming, as well as the recipes we share every week.
Too loud....
Laundry shmaundry....
Off to the pool..
I was trying to remember the days when we decided to go somewhere and pretty much all we did was get our shoes on and out the door. Now when we want to go somewhere it takes planning, and packing, and chasing down kids, and more packing and that is just to go to the pool. About 30 minutes just to get ready and a few hours at the pool, and another hour to try to get everyone out and in the car, whew....that's probably why we don't go to the pool that much :) They sure are cute little swimmers!
A work in progress...
I have had this buffet for almost 12 years, and have always had a love hate relationship with it. I love the style, but not so much the colors, it always seems so dark and dreary. So I decided to paint it, (when I say I really I mean my wonderful hubby). It is now in the garage, I can't wait to show off the finished product!

1st day of school.....
Where did the summer go, today Kaden & Kylor started school! Kevin insists that I am the only mother who is sad to see the kids return to school. I think that he is definitely wrong on that one! I love having everyone home, and all the craziness that goes along with it, it is so much fun!!! Well anyway the boys started 1st & 2nd grade today..CRAZY... I still think they are to little, but grow and grow they do. They were so excited, the day started around 6:00am with pancakes, daddy's special recipe - yumo, then the whole fam took them to school. Wonderful teachers this year - we are so excited!!!! Kaden was most excited about chocolate milk today, and Kylor was a little bummed that he got beat by a "big 5th grade girl" in tether ball, "I'll get her back in no time, just let me get practicing..." What fun! We don't need to many excuses to eat cake around her, what better to celebrate than the 1st day of school!
She is a big girl now......
Our little Bitty girl, is now sleeping in a big girl bed. I really thought that she was going to take her crib with her to college, but she gladly gave it up for this beautiful girly bedroom set. "Missa Fafe" gave her a beautiful bed, and all the "fixins" and Kendall was so excited. She is about the size of some of the pillows, plenty of room to grow. Her brothers were equally excited about her bed, maybe even more, don't know why, what good brothers. Kendall has slept like a log the past couple of nights, woohoo! Thanks again Granny Fafe - we love you!!!

A new dress for Kendall Boo!
I love to make things out of stuff I already have, when I saw this cute little tutorial, I had to try it. I changed things around a bit, a girl can never have to many ruffles, so I added some around the neck. The color probably isn't the best choice for Bullhead, nor for pictures, but it is pretty darn cute! Little Miss looks so cute in it...I bet there will be a few more colors coming her way!!
