I will do the laundry from now on.....
So once again the boys amaze me. They went to play in the oh so popular ditch (quick side note we have a week straight of heavy rain here) needless to say they we ecstatic to tell me how the ditch was all muddy just like cow pies, and they were covered in mud, but then they wanted to make sure they weren't to messy when they came home so the took a bath in the big mud puddle next to the ditch. We washed our clothes and bodies for you, mama! Then we dried them on the way home on our bikes.....yup they rode home in their underwear so they could dry their clothes on the way (another side note - it is not that far) Several thoughts crossed my mind, one of which thank goodness they had man boxers on, and where do they come up with these things...i love boys!!! One more quick note: the current temp out 48 degrees!!!!!
Who needs dolls...
When Santa brought the double stroller, I don't think it was intended for big babies, but when the big sister tells you to sit down you had better do it!
Rain is BIG news....
We have had a week full of rain here. For a dry and dusty land it is a welcome blessing. We all watched the rain come down, especially these two...its a big deal!
Mr Clean, Mr Clean...
I spend most of my days running around chasing after 3 small kiddos, I see a lot of unusual things, but tonight, as I walked by our trash can I noticed that my little Kelson has been helping out around the kitchen. He took his daddys BBQ tool box from the pantry and put it in the trash..not sure what to make of it. I can always count on the little guy to help me clean up. Everything gets thrown away with him, who knows how many things I haven't found.....
You have not chosen wisely!
Oh my Kylor Bylor. Somehow Kylor did not get the message that the hard boiled eggs were in the white bowl, and not the container with all the eggs. He decided he wanted to break the egg on his head this time, and before he knew what hit him he was covered in yoke. Kevin and I laughed so hard we cried, he was in a little disbelief, then laughed it off. I don't know what drives boys to always want to crack eggs on their heads....boys you gotta love them!
Happy Birthday Daddy!
So that is how we celebrated our wonderful daddy's birthday! What a day...we love you so much daddy you are the best!

Kelson Belson - the entertainer..

On our knees..
You're the God of this City You're the King of these people You're the Lord of this nation You are
You're the Light in this darkness
You're the Hope to the hopeless
You're the Peace to the restless
You are
There is no one like our God
There is no one like our God
For greater things have yet to come And greater things are still to be done in this City Greater thing have yet to come And greater things are still to be done in this City There is no one like our God There is no one like our God
I have found comfort in these lyrics by Chris Tomlin. The more I watch, the news about the devastation in Haiti the more hopeless I feel. Suddenly I grasped hold of the obvious: "I don't have to just sit here feeling like there's nothing I can do. I can find a way to give like getting down on my knees in believing prayer and back up on my feet to open my wallet. There are so many organizations and churches on the ground helping. I pray that we can rally behind these "hands & feet" and support them.

Birthday fun...
We are so happy that we got to celebrate Grandpa's birthday! We had lemon meringue pie for big papa, and chocolate pie for an early birthday for daddy!
Hook em' horns...
We painted the house orange and white, tied Zoe in the front yard (since Bevo was taken), but our beloved Texas Longhorns didn't win the championship, but our community group sure did have fun, and of course enjoyed this yummy Texas sheet cake, you have got to make this one yummy!
Love big papa!
Miss Kendall Bendall has her Big Papa pretty much wrapped around her finger. She loves to have her back scratched and is very paticular on the way it is done.
We love our papa!
I learned that the desire to have your back scratched is hereditary, I used to do the same thing to papa, when I was little, too...go figure!
When boys are left alone...
So the big boys like to play in the ditch by our house. If they were to tell you about it you would think that it is just like Disneyland. The excitement that this place invokes is nothing short of hysteria with the boys. And let me be the first to say that I don't get it...but then again, I am not a boy, and I am not 7 & 8 years old. One quick clarification, the ditch consists of sand, rocks, and about 20 feet down. No secret passages, gold, rides etc. Kylor could sell this place, he had his papa and memaw convinced that they were missing out on one of the most exciting places in the world. They have both visited "the ditch"many times, but its better now he says. So when we went to get the boys for dinner we found two boys without shoes, shirts, and half buried in sand. Kaden said they were digging to China, Kylor said he was digging to the jungle...hmmm. One more note it was in the upper 40's that day...CRAZY boys! My washer is still yelling about all the sand it has had to ingest! I love boys they are so silly!

Lets go fly a kite..
There is not a lot going for Bullhead, but it does get windy here, most all of the time! Perfect to fly the new tie fighter, and x-wing kites!
Reading the Christmas Story
Kaden read the Christmas story this year, what a very special first in our life. It made us so proud to hear him read the real Christmas story, and to have the sibling listening to their big brother. You make us proud Kaden Baden!
