It took sooo long for Kylor's front tooth to come out. I think that it was literally hanging by a thread, and Kylor would not let it go, finally daddy pulled it out. We couldn't stand it anymore, I just knew if he breathed in to hard that he would suck out his tooth. It was very exciting to finally get it out, he looks so cute missing his front tooth. Kaden told him that now you look like me, you can't eat corn anymore, but you can be a sprinkler. Its great having a big brother.

A Laguna Beach evening...
We spent the evening on Laguna Beach. We were at a very small little beach (I think it was private, Kevin disagrees) but it was absolutely beautiful. The sun was setting and the temperature was rapidly dropping, but that did not stop the boys from playing in the water. I don't know how they do it, but they laughed and ran and had so much fun trying not to get wet, it didn't work.... Meanwhile the babies and I were huddled together trying to stay warm. We loved it so, that we stayed until we could hardly see anymore, and till the waves came up to the deck we were on. There is nothing more fun & relaxing than watching the sun set over the ocean, and hearing the laughter of boys.

Aquarium of the Pacific...
We visited the aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, CA, Friday, while daddy was in his conference. It was a wonderful aquarium with lots of hands on exhibits. It is always so much fun when you can tell the boys to go ahead and touch all you want. They touched stingrays, horseshoe crabs, all kinds of sharks, sea slugs, sea coral, starfish, and probably a lot more that I did not see. Kendall loved the small exhibits, but anytime the creatures got bigger than her she got a little worried. Kyson & Kelson were not very impressed with the exhibits, but did enjoy all the children running around. All around I would recommend this aquarium. Lots of fun, and even better the local libraries gave a 50% off coupon - yeah! After the aquarium we headed home on the Pacific Coast Highway, a nice way to end a very busy day!

Is the weather always this perfect.....
We are so enjoying the beautiful weather here in Costa Mesa, CA. It is absolutely wonderful! What makes it even more wonderful is that when we left Bullhead City on Tuesday it was 106!!!! That just does not seem right, it is only April! So needless to say we are soaking up every bit of coolness, and moisture we can! The boys think that it rains here every night, are we moisture starved Zonies or what????? Condensation - not even in our vocabulary!
Discovery Science Center....
Today we visited the Discovery Science center in Irvine, CA. Tons of fun. Hands on science experiments everywhere. The boys and Kendall touched everything, many times, and had a ball. It was such a nice place. Every type of science was explained. Kaden & kylor learned about weather, sports science, the human body, space, airplanes, and the list goes on and on, but by far their favorite part was the huge outdoor science exhibit on dinosaurs. What little boy would not love the fact there is a life size Apatosaurus, that you can run through as well as see how the digestive tract works, yeah little boys think that kind of stuff is so cool! We spent ALL day visiting each experiment as well as completing the dinosaur treasure hunt.

Look who's crawling...
If brothers only knew.....
If Kaden & Kylor only knew what their little sister subjects their toys to while they are away at school, I bet they would be absolutely appalled. Today she found their life size Spiderman doll, and thought that he need a diaper change. She got the wipes and cleaned him right up. Her brothers would be so horrified to see this.

Easter Morning
Happy Easter! This year the kids were all up extra early so they got to get their Easter baskets before church, usually we always have to wait till after church since Daddy has to leave so early, but not this year! Kaden & Kylor were thrilled to each get bug catchers, mommy was thrilled too, now all my baby food jars and Tupperware will not be filled with bugs all the time, Kendall got a baby of course, and the babies got some of their favorite puff snacks. Not to mention chocolate for everyone- yummy
Easter cookies
This was the first year that we made Resurrection day cookies. It was so fun, and made the Easter story come alive to all of us. We read the bible verses that went along with each step and ingredient and talked about what Jesus went through so that we could live eternally. We beat the nuts, as the soldiers beat Jesus body, then several steps later we sealed the tomb (oven), just as they sealed the tomb with Jesus. They used a giant rock, we used duct tape. It is such a special time of year, and we are so thankful that the boys understand why we celebrate Easter. We can't wait to make these cookie with Kendall, and the babies, very soon. We would be happy to share this wonderful recipe with anyone who may like to try it.
So many eggs....
4 dozen eggs, oh my! There were only 3 kids decorating this year, so the question that begs to be answered is, what are we ever going to do when Kyson & Kelson are big enough to decorate?... we might as well get a chicken! It always amazes us at the creativity of our children as well as the amount of time it takes to color eggs. Who knew you could dye 4 dozen eggs in just a matter of minutes. Kendall made things very exciting this year. She caught on really quick, and everyone quickly became Tye dyed by the splashing of the colors, not to mention her little hands were as pretty as the eggs. Out of 4 dozen eggs we ended up with about 2 dozen that were not broken, dying eggs is a rough activity.

Planting....
We are all finally recuperating from this sickness that has had a hold on our home for almost 2 weeks now. We can all say that we are sick and tired of being sick and tired. The good news is that the weather is so beautiful and we can get out and enjoy it, as well as air out our home and hopefully rid our house of all sickness, not to mention I have a little OCD and have cleaned everything there is to clean in this house with the trusty Lysol disinfectant.
As for spring we spent several hours at home depot Saturday, "shopping" for plants. The big boys had a ball, they studied each plant, and talked to the helpful home depot man, and made their choices. Kaden chose lantana, allysum (which smells so good), and a strawberry plant; Kylor chose lavender, celosia, and mint. Kendall was just happy to have somewhere to run, as well as watch birds. It thrilled her to no end to get another block of bird food for our birdies. Planting was so much fun, and everyone got to get their hands (and whole body) dirty, some more than others - Kylor! We also planted some cantaloupe and butternut squash seeds that we have been saving in our garden. We even had a ladybug visit our newly planted flowers. Kendall wanted so badly to touch it, but just couldn't bring her little hands to do what her mind wanted. What fun it is to get outside, and enjoy each other while getting dirty.
