How do you know if you have hypothermia????

This pole was about 200 feet out in the lake, since the day we got to the beach all the boys said they were going to swim to it, there was just one problem, the water was FREEZING around 50 + degrees, so cold that our feet turned red, from being in the water, and I know from looking at all the pics of the boys playing in the water you could never tell (thats why you don't see me in the water) so the last day at the beach Kev decided to get the job done, and swim out to the pole.  The boys were so proud and he was so frozen when he got back, he was worried about hypothermia, I was worried about getting the right shot :)

Lake Tahoe family vacation....2010

This is just one of the many post that I am sure will be coming soon from our family vacation, we had a blast, and have the pictures to prove it, so if you tire of seeing cute kids playing in water skip this blog for a while :) lol

End of school...

I so love my Kylor Bylor, he knows what he wants, and is so simple.  He came home from school, with his end of school party list, everytime they have a party he signs up to bring "cake" not cupcakes, just cake!  When I asked him what kind of cake he wanted he said the kind you always make the good one, not the oe I don't like.....which one is that..I don't know...just make it good with a whole in the middle...what kind of cake do you want?.....umm yellow....what color frosting do you want?.....all of them.....what do you mean all of them....you know all the colors!
So this is what we came out with for the end of school party! Pretty fun, to make, and lots of fun to eat!!

don't try this at home.......

Roasting marshmallows in the backyard, has taken on a whole new level at our house.  Marshmallows are strung from head to toe and everywhere in between!  It is always good to change things up, and try something new, tonight we learned how far ONE marshmallow can cover 2 boys, chairs, dog, slide, and the list goes on....
