Dear Kendally Bendally Boo....

Dear Kendall Marie Dunlap
Today is your three year old birthday.  Yippee!  This is one of my favorite days in the whole year.  Thank you Kendall for bringing a girl into this family.  Never had I so dreamed the joy that you would bring into our home with baby dolls, strollers, hair bows, and cute pink shoes (that always are on the wrong feet).  Thank you for teaching me the proper way to take care of babies, to hold them correctly, and change diapers, heaven  knows I needed that.  Thank you for having such a beautiful smile, one that lights up the room, and such a contagious and joyful  laugh that could make the Grinch laugh too.
Thank you for your love of music, and the fun that we have dancing around the living room.  When you hear music those feet can't stand still.  Thank you for making your father so proud with the words "I like this song, turn it up a little" to Third Day.
Thank you for being the best little sister to two big brothers, who had know idea what they were getting into when you came home from the hospital, to spider-man and superman in costume.  They thought they were tough, but you have wiggled your way into their hearts and they absolutely adore you, who else would spend 30 minutes every afternoon after school pushing you in the swing super high, or have tea parties with you.  They pick you up whenever you get hurt, and always give you a kiss before they leave, you are so blessed to have such wonderful big brothers, and speaking of brothers what about those 2 little guys, who would probably not have survived the last 19 months had it not been for you!!! Thanks you for playing with them all day, and giving hugs and kisses to them every morning.  You are the best, and there is lots of fun I see ahead.
Thank you for your precious faith in God, like your prayer thanking God that Me-maw and Big Papa were coming to your party.  Little did we know that the birthday was still 3 weeks away, and Big Papa & Me-maw were up to their eye balls in projects, and did not have plans to attend the party.  Funny how a sweet prayer, and strong faith can get them here.  Thank you that you love all four of your grandparents, and love to talk on the phone to them!  Thank you for loving your daddy so much.  The truth be known he is super head over heels in love with you too.  Thank you for telling him alright when he say that you can only marry someone who loves Jesus.  Thank you for picking out all the good doughnuts when you and daddy go to get doughnuts.
Thank you for the 3 most wonderful "girly" years of my life.  I never knew what I needed was you.  You are an answer to prayer and a special beautiful girl, who we all love so much, but that God loves even more!
I love you Kendall Bendally boo!
