14 years ago I married the love of my life. 14 years ago life looked a lot different..an army life, no kids, far away from family, trusting in the love of Jesus...today we have 5 fantastic kids, are planting a church that has the greatest people ever, still far away from family, but learning to understand family is not only by blood, and still so in love with Jesus. What a journey it has been, not always easy, but so worth every minute of it. We are at a point in our life where we are so thankful for the life God has given us, and never take a second together for granted. We know so much about each other yet continue to find new things about each other, we are loving raising our basketball team, and cherish the times with our kids as we know it will not last forever. We enjoy our hot dates, and laugh and cuddle just as much as when we were first married, married life is pretty much the best thing ever, so in love and so thankful to God for giving us this marriage!
On a side note whoever came up with wedding gift ideas had to be a single unhappy individual..who really gives ivory as gift? Oh well no ivory this year, I nixed the ivory soap idea right away!
