We took Papa & Memaw to the historically famous Oatman, AZ. We heard about the donkeys that roam the old west town, and thought it would be cute to see and fun to walk through. Boy were we wrong, while yes it was a cute little old west town, everyone failed to mention that the donkeys are psychotic, ravenous creatures, that attack and bite, if you do not feed them!!! OK so maybe they are not that bad, but they do get very aggressive, and forceful, and one did bite Kevin in the butt. He was prepared to make a rug out of that particular donkey, but decided that may be traumatic for the tourists around. Kendall is forever scarred for life, she spent the entire time on the shoulders of daddy or papa, and told us repeatedly that donkeys bite!! All in all it was a fun trip and we did have a great time despite a few bites, but learned to bring more carrots!
